Motorized Level 1 Avalanche Course

Develop essential skills for snowmobiling in avalanche terrain including trip planning, hazard management, group communication, and terrain choice. This curriculum is designed specifically to meet the needs of motorized users. This class will include two 3-hour classroom sessions, with some self guided learning given as “homework”.  In addition you will have two full field days located in the surrounding Flathead National Forest.  Exact location TBD closer to the course dates.
