Membership helps sustain avalanche forecasts, education, weather infrastructure, and community programs serving winter backcountry users across Northwest Montana.

Flathead Avalanche is supported by the community it serves, and memberships and donations through Friends of the Flathead Avalanche Center help keep forecasting, outreach, education, and weather station operations running each season.

This is your avalanche center, and membership at any level helps support avalanche safety, education, and informed backcountry travel across Northwest Montana.
