Welcome to the Flathead Avalanche Center. Based in Kalispell, Montana, the center covers an area of approximately 9,000 km2, including the Cabinet, Flathead, Mission, Purcell, Swan and Whitefish ranges within the Flathead and Kootenai National Forests and portions of Glacier National Park.
