We skinned and skied the west-facing aspect of the Wahoo Creek drainage and also skied a north-facing aspect. The skiing conditions were fantastic, with around 12" of fresh boot top/ski penetration. We experienced minimal sluffing when skiing, and there were just a couple of sluffy point releases and loose dry's from during the storm on the steepest or rockiest terrain. There was also almost no wind effect below 6000 ft. We did, however, notice surface hoar developing on the snow surface, some of it was upwards of 5mm.
We skinned up the west-facing side of the Wahoo Creek drainage and proceeded to skin up to the ridge on that west-facing side, skiing that west aspect. We also traveled south down the ridge to that high point at 6000 ft and skied a north-facing shot.
