Traveled at mid-elevations near the boundaries of WMR and found reactive storm slabs on specific terrain features. We kept to mellow terrain with short, steep pitches to manage the problem.
In wind-sheltered terrain, 12" soft slab behaving more like a sluff.
Slabs a little thicker (16") and wider propagating where winds had stiffened it.
Skook Chutes natural. Either a sluff or a storm slab.
