Toured up Casadilla looking for leprechauns. Stuck to the shady side, but saw warming snow and small roller ball formation even in these more sun-protected aspects. Numerous medium and large debris piles from wet slides were noted on the sunny side (east-facing) that had run the day before, and several smaller ones were coming off the cliff bands on Nyack during our tour, but we saw no propagation or signs of the persistent slab waking up there. We took several laps up high and snow quality was staying fairly well preserved, though getting heavier over the course of a few hours. No cracking noted at any point in the day, and ski cuts, hand pits, and stomping produced only heavy sluffing. As expected, the snow was warm and heavy on the exit at lower elevations.
